Skid Row Food Aid

The USC Ansar Service Partnership takes part in food distributions with the ILM Foundation for the homeless community of Skid Row in Los Angeles every other Sunday. We take groups of five to ten students, and give preference to those who have not previously attended a food distribution in the past.
Fastathon
The USC Ansar Service Partnership sponsors and helps facilitate the Hassan Hathout Fastathon annually, in conjunction with the USC Muslim Student Union. Besides creating awareness of a basic tenet of Islam, the event also tries to make the community empathize with the plight of the needy.
Humanitarian Day LA

Every year the USC Ansar Service Partnership takes part in the Humanitarian Day in Los Angeles. This event, designed to "Convert One Day Into a Life Mission", is organized by the ILM Foundation, and the Coalition to Preserve Human Dignity (CPHD).
Hip Hop and Islam

The Ansar Service Partnership invited Maytha (May) Alhassen to speak about the connection between doing service in the community and hip-hop while tying it to Islamic principles. Check out the presentation slides in the details below!
